Vegarol 16-98 / Bergarol C1698
Cetyl alcohol, also known as hexadecanol or palmitylalcohol, is a long chain saturated fatty alcohol. It appears waxy at room temperature. Cetyl alcohol acts as an opacifier, emollient, viscosity modifier, emulsion stabilizer, foaming- and masking agent. It modifies the consistency of the final product according to its purpose and provides skin conditioning properties.
