Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, also known as glycerin ester of caprylic and capric acid, is a mixed fatty acid compound. It is a colorless liquid used in food related application like food grade inks, food grade lubricants. It can be used as a coalescing agent in water based paints. Due to its lubricating properties, it finds use in metal working fluids, hydraulic fluids and greases. It acts as a base oil in these applications.
