Octyl alcohol, also known as octanol or capryl alcohol, is a short chain saturated fatty alcohol. Our octyl alcohol is plant based and liquid at room temperature. Octyl alcohol finds application in various industries. Octyl alcohol mainly used as solvent in chemical processes, in the production of plasticizers and / or surfactants. It can also serve as starting material to produce ester compounds used in the food industry and fragrance production.
