BergaSurf 18:1-98 ME is a methyl ester. It is a colorless to pale yellow liquid, insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents. Methyl esters are obtained from methanol and carboxylic acid. They are used as release agents in the construction industry, as solvents and plasticizers, and many other applications.
