Bergasurf 1870-H ME is a C16-C18 fatty acid. This methyl ester is hydrogenated and is used in polymer additives, especially in plasticizers for UV stabilization. It is a colorless to pale yellow liquid that is insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents.
