Sternoil 12-HSA
12-HSA (white pastilles, powder or flakes) is obtained by hardening (hydrogenation) and hydrolysis of castor oil and is a saturated C18 fatty acid, which is used in grease and lubricants. It has a role as a plant metabolite and a bacterial xenobiotic metabolite. It is a hydroxyoctadecanoic acid and a secondary alcohol.
