Anionic and mild surfactant with good skin compatibility that creates very rich, stable, creamy foams. The surfactant comes in needles, granules or powder form and is very suitable for solid and waterless formulations. Sodium cocoyl istehionate acts as a suitable replacement for sulfates in liquid rinse-off formulations, with the advantage of easy thickening.
